MLS Matchday 4 Schedule and Betting Guide: Can the Galaxy get back on track against Portland?

Another full weekend of soccer is scheduled for MLS Matchday 4. The first three weeks of the league’s 30th season have provided fireworks, drama, and crazy storylines, and Matchday 4 is ready to continue the trend.

The biggest surprise so far in 2025 has been the LA Galaxy. The defending MLS Cup Champions haven’t been able to produce last year’s form, losing three straight matches. They became the first defending champions to start the next season winless.

On Wednesday night in the Concacaf Champions Cup, the Galaxy defeated Herediano 4-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals. The Galaxy lost their first match against the Costa Rican side 1-0 but stormed back in the second leg.

Can the Galaxy find their form in league play against the Portland Timbers on Sunday afternoon? Only two clubs remain undefeated after Matchday 3. Can they remain unbeaten after Matchday 4?

All 30 clubs will be in action and all matches can be viewed on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass.
