A lot will change between now and the NFL Draft, but the type of players and athletes that the Philadelphia Eagles draft does not. They show the league the type of players they look for every year and have been consistent over the last four drafts in staying true to their board and style.

This is my first all-Eagles, no trades, 2025 NFL mock draft for Philly Sports Network of the draft SzN.

Eagles Mock Draft 1.0

Round One Pick 32- T.J. Sanders, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

Sanders has elite length and eliminates passing lanes with his height and reach. He utilizes a quick burst off the line and is disruptive, causing havoc in the backfield. T.J. provides an interior pass rush (8.5 sacks last 2 seasons), sheds blocks well, is a solid tackler, has gaudy TFL totals (17 in 23/24), and is a toolsy player with high upside. He had a 21.2% pass-rush win rate and an 11.3% run-stop rate in college and is a versatile piece that could be truly explosive in this defensive front.

Round Two Pick 64- Josaiah Stewart, Edge Rusher, Michigan

Stewart has excellent speed, agility, an elite first step, and a plethora of pass-rush moves; swim, chop, etc. He has shown adequate bend getting around the edge, has a high motor to keep pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and has active, violent hands to thwart offensive linemen in his way. He processes offenses quickly. Josaiah can win with outside or inside pass rush moves and has a 16% pressure rate and a 17% run-stop rate tied for best-in-class. The Eagles prefer athletic edge rushers, and while some may think he is small for the position, he could be a perfect fit in Philadelphia.

Round Three Pick 96- Gunnar Helm, Tight End, Texas

Gunnar has the size, frame, and hands you want from the position. He exudes body control, is an above-average route runner, creates YAC, breaks tackles, and loves learning. Helm has some of the best hands in class and rarely drops a pass. He is also a film rat who desires to continually improve. He can thrive in the 12 P scheme and always finds a soft spot in coverage. Gunnar uses his body well to shield defenders and excels in space. He is the best run blocker in class!

Round Four Pick 128 Jeffrey Bassa, Linebacker, Oregon

Jeffrey was the QB of the defense for Oregon, calling plays for three years. He is an above-average cover LB, using his former skills from being a saftey. Bassa has elite instincts, reads routes with speed, is twitchy, can blitz, and has elite closing speed and footwork. Jeffrey has also been a Gunner on special teams. This year, he was a Senior Bowl show-off! I love fit with the Eagles.

Round Five Pick 162 Hollin Pierce, Offensive Tackle, Rutgers

Pierce has the size, height, anchor, and hands the Eagles love to develop. At 6’8 340, he is a roadblock, a mauler, and a vicious finisher. Hollin keeps pockets clean and blows up double teams. He measured the 3rd longest arms and 4th widest wingspan. Pierce is a tough, hard worker and a riser in this draft class at the position! Jeff Stoutland could take Hollin from a relative unknown to All-Pro by the time Lane is ready to hang the cleats up.

Round Five Pick 166- Nohl Williams, Cornerback, Cal

Nohl has great size and is uber-competitive. Williams has shown his elite ball skills with seven interceptions this season at Cal. He is fluid and quick, recognizes routes with ease, and reacts instantly. Nohl also defends the run and tackles well. He is a physical corner too. Williams goes after the ball as if it was thrown to him when it is in the air. He should have a great showing at the combine in Indianapolis and has a chance to improve his stock. He has the talent to be a top-100 player. Adding another ball-hawking, aggressive, athletic, cost-effective corner to coach is desirable with the uncertainty of Slay and others possibly leaving Philly.

Round Five Pick 169- Jalen McLeod, Edge OLB, Auburn

McLeod has a high motor and a knack for getting to the ball. He frustrates opposing defenses with physicality, think Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. He is versatile and play OLB or put his hand in the dirt as an Edge. Jalen is a menace on the field utilizing his speed, leverage, and eye awareness. He chases down ball carriers as if they stole from him, Playmaker! And why wouldn’t the Eagles want another Jalen on the squad? It has worked out well so far.

As always, thank you for reading!
