PHILADELPHIA — Just as his 10-day deal expires, David Roddy returns to the Sixers as he’s set to sign a two-way deal with Philadelphia, a source confirmed Philly Sports Network, Philly Voice’s Adam Aaronson first to report.
Roddy played 13 minutes for Philadelphia in their Thursday night loss against the Boston Celtics, tied for the second-most minutes off the bench for the Sixers. This was Roddy’s first appearance with the team, as he spent the majority of his 10-day break between Delaware with the Blue Coats and enjoying the All-Star break.
Through his first three years in the league, Roddy has averaged 6.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. This season, between the Hawks and Sixers, Roddy has averaged just 4.5 points per game. Roddy showed an expanded range in Atlanta, but through one game in Philadelphia, it’s yet to show up, going 0-4 from deep against the Celtics.

With the addition of Roddy on a two-way deal, the Sixers’ roster is now set, seemingly for the rest of the season, having also agreed to sign wing Lonnie Walker to a two-year deal and forward Alex Reese to a two-way deal. One source told Philly Sports Network that all three deals are expected to become official on Friday, Feb. 21.
