The Philadelphia Eagles announced that Brandon Graham will return to the practice field ahead of the Super Bowl LIX matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on February 9. The Eagles opened the practice window for the veteran DE and TE CJ Uzomah in a series of roster transactions on Thursday:

Graham, 36, has been sidelined since the end of November after tearing his triceps muscle during a game against the Rams in Week 12. His season was expected to be over due to the injury … unless the Eagles reached the Super Bowl. In 11 games this season, Graham collected 15 solo takedowns, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.
During his Monday show on Sports Radio WIP, Graham said he was taking things “one day at a time” and was excited to be around the team to experience the moment. “I feel good,” the Super Bowl LII champion said. “This has been the easiest injury, I’d say, out of the injuries I’ve had. Upper body stuff is a little bit easier. I’m getting stronger and doing the right things to where I’m not re-hurting it.”
With the announcement on Thursday, the 6-foot-2 defensive end might get his opportunity to impact the game one final time in a historic Eagles career, just like he did with the iconic strip sack of Tom Brady that represented a major turning point at Super Bowl LII.
