At first glance, the Union’s toughest stretch of the season will come in May, when they’ll play a total of 7 games, with a run of games against Columbus, Galaxy, Atlanta United, and Inter Miami, all within 2 weeks.
Union’s longest time spent away from home this season will come at the end of June into early July, with 3 consecutive games on the road. Their longest home stand of the season is just 2 consecutive games, but that will happen 4 times throughout the year.
In terms of miles traveled, the trip to Vancouver in mid-September is going to be a big gut check near the end of a long season. Trips to both Dallas in late May and Houston in the Summer should be tough tests as well.
Finally, for anyone anticipating Union moving their home game against Inter Miami from Subaru Park to a bigger venue – its mainframe will not come this season. It seems Lincoln Financial Field, the most likely venue for such an event, is already booked and hosting Metallica’s World Tour.
