As he continues his stellar rookie campaign, Sixers first year guard Jared McCain continues to reap the benefits of his hard work. Having recently being placed atop the most recent NBA Rookie Ladder, McCain has now received a massive boost to his NBA 2k rating in recognition of his play this season.

McCain began the year with a rating of 70. He would see that rating increase to 73 after the first week of November. Now, just two weeks later, McCain has seen a massive boost to his rating, which now sit 10 points higher at 83. McCain now ranks as the 81st best player in the NBA by 2k’s rankings, above names like Dennis Schroder, Immanuel Quickley, and Fred VanVleet.

Between those two weeks, McCain has averaged 24.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game while slashing 48.0/43.9/100 shooting percentages. McCain has started each of the last four games for Philadelphia, and it seems as though he has a hold on the position moving forward as he remained the starter in Tyrese Maxey‘s return Wednesday night.
