The Philadelphia Eagles have released their second injury report ahead of Sunday night’s clash against the Los Angeles Rams. Unfortunately for Philly fans, there’s some bad news.

Eagles Injury Report: Thursday November 21st

For the second practice in a row, DeVonta Smith has been sidelined with a hamstring injury. This has been something nagging the star wideout for a couple of weeks now and the injury looked to hamper the Alabama product in the teams’ most recent win over the Commanders.

Losing Smitty for this game would be a tough pill to swallow, but it could mean some expanded reps to rookies like Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson.

Bryce Huff was the only other player to fully miss Thursday’s workout as he undergoes wrist surgery. While he hasn’t been the most productive player on the field this year, losing him for a couple of games is still going to put a strain on a position lacking star-power.

In his place, we can expect both Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith III to see an uptick in snaps. Both young players could benefit greatly from this exposure, with Smith already showing huge signs of growth from his underwhelming rookie campaign.

The rest of the team have the green light, it seems. Jalen Hurts‘ ankle is something to be cautious of as this is another injury that has nagged for multiple weeks, but there doesn’t appear to be any danger of him missing a game.

The Eagles will lock horns with the Rams at SoFi Stadium under the primetime lights this Sunday.
