The Philadelphia Eagles are now 6-2 and riding a 4-game win streak following yet another victory. While the win over Jacksonville wasn’t as convincing as many assumed it would be, the main thing is that Philly stopped the Commanders from getting a hold over the NFC East, keeping their divisional hopes high. What has their recent red-hot run in form done to their Super Bowl odds?

The Kansas City Chiefs are still the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season. In doing so, they would become the first EVER team to win 3 consecutive Lombardi Trophies, and they’re certainly on the right path. As things stand, KC is the only undefeated team in the NFL, having advanced to 8-0 after knocking off the Bucs. If they can continue to grind out tough wins, it’s hard to envision many teams having the capabilities to stop them on the biggest stage of all.

The Lions and Ravens are tucked in behind and are picking up steam. Baltimore decimated the Broncos this past weekend while the Lions were able to get past the Packers to extend their winning streak to 6. Neither team has peaked this season and both have struggled at times throughout the opening stanza, but it’s safe to say that they’re only really getting better as time goes on.

Buffalo has pretty much sealed the AFC East now. With 7 wins to their name, they’re 4 clear of the struggling Jets, which is just as well. Clashes with the Chiefs, Lions, 49ers, and Rams, all await. While the division isn’t secured, the Bills should at the very least, make the playoffs with a strong seeding in a worst-case scenario. The best case? They’re able to upset some of the biggest teams in the league and carry that momentum into the playoffs.

Then, there are the injury-ravaged 49ers, who are in a 3-way tie for 2nd in the hyper-competitive NFC West. With the Cardinals on top, the depleted Niners are doing all they can to stop the bleeding, but sat helplessly on the bye and watched on as the Rams and Cardinals continued to make their divisional hopes that much tougher to attain.

Why should you bet on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl in 2024?

After a bumpy beginning, the Eagles are starting to roll. With 4 wins in a row and a friendly schedule ahead, the path to reclaiming the NFC East title. They have looked sloppy in places, but the elite quality continues to prevail on a weekly basis. From reverse-hurdles to highlight reel-level catches, the biggest stars continue to shine brightest when the team needs them most.

There have been injury and play call-related setbacks, but this is a team with all the pieces needed to make a deep playoff run. The most important thing right now is winning, and so long as the Eagles can continue to build on what is a very firm foundation, then there’s every chance that they’re jousting in the Super Bowl in a few months time.

The sky is the limit for this franchise, who is in search of its second Lombardi Trophy, and if they can avoid self-inflicted wounds and stay out of their own way, there aren’t many teams who can go pound-for-pound with Philly when it comes to roster quality, and that’s on both sides of the ball.

The Eagles have the best team in the division, the schedule is relatively light, and +1200 feels a little high when it comes to Super Bowl odds…although it has been decreasing on a weekly basis, so this could well be a great time to back them.
