Saquon Barkley over 125 combined rushing & receiving yards +125
Saquon Barkley is en-route to a simply remarkable first season in midnight green and has another opportunity to showcase his excellence against a Bengals run defense that has struggled to do much of anything this season. After ripping his former team to shreds, Barkley is primed to feast against a similarly deficient Bengals run-stopping unit.
Grant Calcaterra over 25 receiving yards -105
I actually really like Calcaterra’s line here. A former collegiate teammate of Jalen Hurts, the young TE has been flying under the radar this season but continues to come up with big-time catches. With no Dallas Goedert, he will continue to get expanded looks, and the Bengals are giving up more than 50 yards per game to opposing tight ends. There’s some sleeper value on Calcaterra, who has drawn 10 targets this season already, mostly as a backup. Now in a primary role for the second week in a row, he could turn a few heads down in Cincy.
Joe Burrow over 300.5 passing yards +270
This is a slightly adventurous pick. The Eagles’ defense has looked better in recent weeks, but they’ve faced two of the worst-performing offenses in the league, masking some of their weaknesses. An electric tandem in Joe Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase awaits, and we could see Burrow catch fire as Baker Mayfield just did a few weeks ago. At the very least, he’s going to need to due to the lack of run-support he has, so challenging the secondary early and often is likely going to be the mission.
DeVonta Smith anytime TD +190
A.J Brown has been the star of the show from a receiving perspective this season, but the Eagles have a regular habit of ensuring all of their guys eat. With A.J continuing to wreak havoc, it feels like a perfect spot for Hurts to start looking Smitty’s way, who has done nothing but shine when called upon. The Alabama product has 2 scores to his name this season and could well find a third on the road this weekend.
