Giants vs Bengals: NFL Week 6 Betting Info
Spread: New York Giants +3.5 | Cincinnati Bengals -3.5
Moneyline: New York Giants +150 | Cincinnati Bengals -180
Total: Over/Under 46
Joe Burrow over 275 passing yards +125
The Bengals are averaging 7.9 yards per pass attempt this season and the New York secondary has struggled as of late. Geno Smith was able to put up 280 yards in week 5 while Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson hovered around the 200 mark. None of those quarterbacks are Joe Burrow, who decimated the Ravens to the tune of 392 yards last week.
The Bengals are a much tougher test for New York and I expect Burrow to comfortably soar towards the 300 yard total.
Chase Brown under 43.5 rushing yards -110
Chase Brown has been a pleasant surprise for the Bengals, but their rushing attack simply isn’t what it was with Mixon at the helm. Brown has gone over this total in each of his last 3 games, but the G-Men rank 12th against the run and bottled up the Seahawks last week, giving up 83 yards on the ground.
A committee effort makes sense here, to give Burrow a few different release valves and keep a stern run defense guessing. That should play a role in Brown’s production.
Tee Higgins over 60 yards -105
After a season-high 9 receptions against the Ravens, Higgins will be high on confidence. Ja’Marr Chase is still the alpha in the room, but Higgins has an opportunity to burn the Giants as Tyler Lockett did last week. While Higgins isn’t a slot receiver, he does have the ability to make big time plays when moving across the field, opening things up for Chase, and if they do move away from the run, this is a great way to cash in on the narrative.
Vonn Bell under 5.5 tackles -110
Bell has picked up 6+ tackles in each of his last 4 games, but with the Giants beginning to find an offensive identity of keeping things short due to Daniel Jones’ lack of deep-throw velocity, this could be a fun pick. The Giants aere averaging just 5 yards per play and while Bell will be involved in run support, this could be a game where those pesky corner/out routes rule the day for New York as they look to keep possession.
