The Philadelphia Eagles have released their first injury report ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Cleveland Browns and it brings good news for hesitant fans.
A.J Brown and DeVonta Smith were both full participants during Wednesday’s practice. We’ve not seen Brown on the field since the team’s opening win over Green Bay, while Smitty missed the week 4 loss to Tampa Bay. Getting both players back is huge for an offense that has been struggling without its perimeter stars.
Elsewhere, Sydney Brown joined the team as a full participant for the first time since he heartbreakingly tore his ACL at the end of last season. We don’t yet know if he’ll be ready to go on Sunday, but getting a key defensive playmaker back healthy is going to be crucial for the Eagles as the season progresses.
Nakobe Dean was the only limited participant, but we can assume that this is a minor injury as we haven’t heard anything during the bye week. The team also released Devin White earlier this week, so likely wouldn’t have done that if Dean was dealing with something serious.
The Eagles and Browns will lock horns at Lincoln Financial Field this weekend.
