The New York Giants are 1-2 following their win over the Browns this past weekend. They fumbled a huge opportunity against the Commanders but were able to finally get their first win of the season against a struggling Cleveland collective.
However, this home bout won’t be easy. The secondary is wounded which is the last thing a team wants to hear when playing host to CeeDee Lamb and company. On the other side of the ball, Malik Nabers had a statement game and will pose a real threat to a pass defense that has already looked vulnerable on occasion. So long as the pass-rush can get pressure on a drastically different O-line to the one we’ve come accustomed to seeing, there is a chance that the Giants pull off an upset.
Believe it or not, the Cowboys have actually won all last six of the last meetings against Big Blue, absolutely decimating them on both occasions in 2023. Can New York get one back under the primetime lights?
As for the Cowboys, this is the furthest thing from what was expected after signing Dak Prescott to a monster contract extension. Sitting at 1-2 themselves after two blowout defeats, it’s safe to say that the Giants will sniff blood in the water. However, the Cowboys have a much stronger roster top-to-bottom and cannot be taken for granted, especially with the Giants’ secondary woes.

The Giants beat the Browns last time out and finally found a footing. The Cowboys have been on a downward spiral since week 1 and with this being such a momentum-based league, it would be easy to envision the G-men giving Dallas a real run for their money. The front 4 has wreaked havoc up to this point and the Dallas OL hardly inspires confidence when it comes to keeping their QB upright.

The Giants couldn’t beat the Commanders, they had to dig deep against the Browns, and they were obliterated by the Vikings. In terms of talent, the Cowboys win that battle in almost every metric, and there is no better spot for a rebound game than against a franchise mired in mediocrity.
