The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-0 following their season-opening win over the Green Bay Packers. While the win wasn’t pretty, there were enough positives to take as the team prepares for an MNF clash against Atlanta. But how has the first week of regular season play impacted their Super Bowl odds?

San Francisco 49ers | +550 |
Philadelphia Eagles | +1000 |

The Kansas City Chiefs retain their spot at the top of the odds list after defeating the Baltimore Ravens in week 1, while the San Francisco 49ers took care of business against the Jets on Monday night.
The Niners were particularly impressive, winning with ease despite missing Christian McCaffrey and dealing with questions over Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams following tricky offseasons. They’re certainly the team to beat in the NFC this season, but the Eagles are well-positioned to cause them more postseason heartache.
Why should you bet on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl in 2024?
The offense might have sputtered on occasion during the opening week, but Saquon Barkley‘s dream debut was something to behold. With DeVonta Smith and A.J Brown also combining for 203 total yards, it’s clear just how dangerous this group can be when they heat up. Without any preseason reps as a group, 2 new offensive linemen, and a brand new scheme, teething problems were always going to occur, but the offense battled through to overcome an NFC Championship contending team.
Vic Fangio’s defense also flashed excellence in the week 1 win. Zack Baun stood out from the crowd, leading the team in tackles in his Eagles debut, while Quinyon Mitchell‘s rookie debut was also met with applause.
The sky is the limit for a team simply stacked with potential, and it’s clear that the NFC East is very much theirs to lose. With the team infinitely stronger than it was this time last year, there’s no reason the Eagles can’t make a run at the Super Bowl in 2024.
