The FIFA International Break is here, but that doesn’t mean MLS will take any time off! Six matches are on deck for Matchday 31, and two clubs have the chance to clinch a playoff spot. So far, Inter Maimi is the only club to secure a spot in the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Time for Columbus and Cincinnati to clinch?

Both Columbus Crew and FC Cincinnati can clinch spots in the Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs this weekend.

Looking at Columbus, they’re third in the Eastern Conference and a win over Seattle will send the reigning MLS Cup Champions back into the playoffs.

Shifting gears to Cincinnati, they sit second in the Eastern Conference and can clinch a spot in the playoffs with two different scenarios this weekend despite not playing a match. New England will need to lose to St. Louis, or, New York Red Bulls will need to lose to Kansas City.
