Lowe, 31, was acquired by Philadelphia in 2023 from Inter Miami FC in exchange for $225,000 in GAM and a 22024 natural first-round draft pick. He made 28 appearances for Philly in league play with 25 being starts. In all competitions, Lowe made 47 appearances and scored three goals.

During the 2024 MLS season, Lowe played and started in 12 matches totaling 966 minutes. He recorded 12 shots, 18 tackles won, a 94.7% tackles won percentage, and a 0.85 expected goals (xG) percentage.

He has made 56 appearances for the Jamaican national team throughout his career and has been a solid rotational defender for the Union since being acquired. Lowe has wanted a new contract for quite some time and a deal finally came across the table for the player to accept. With Lowe out of the picture, the teams’ top CB’s remain Jakob Glesnes and Jack Elliott.
