The Philadelphia Eagles announced a season kickoff watch party to view the NFL’s Opening Weekend matchup versus the Green Bay Packers on Friday, September 6, 2024. The event will be held at the home of the Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, and will give Eagles fans a unique opportunity to watch the NFL’s first-ever football game contested in the country of Brazil.
While the Birds are unable to replace the home date they are losing due to the international game on the 2024 schedule, the organization is offering a “game-day-like” experience for fans attending the world-class stadium on Broad Street.
What Can Fans Expect at the Linc on Friday, September 6?
The Eagles Season Kickoff Watch Party is scheduled to provide a fun event for Philadelphia Eagles supporters despite action occurring between the painted white lines. While the Birds take the field over 4,700 miles away in San Paulo, Brazil for an 8:15 EST kickoff, the oversized LED boards inside the stadium will showcase the first NFL game that counts for the Eagles.
Eagles cheerleaders, the franchise-backed drumline, and other entertainment personnel will keep fans hyped up throughout the evening. Philadelphia football legends are scheduled to appear for autograph signings, however, the athletes available on Opening Night have not yet been announced by the organization.
Lincoln Financial Field will feature special “Brazilian menu offerings with a Philly twist” as well as the traditional offerings available during the gameday experience at Lincoln Financial Field.
Affordable Eagles Tickets For Limited On-Field Entertainment
The number one question received about the Eagles Season Kickoff Watch Party presented by Bud Light regards the cost of the event. With most Eagles regular season tickets costing triple-digits in American currency, the opening weekend watch party clocks in at a significantly cheaper price point for fans of the Tri-State area.
Tickets will be available starting on Monday, August 5th, at 2 pm EST and will be available for sale via the Philadelphia Eagles’ official website. Currently, ticket prices are listed as $30 for the lower bowl and $35 for club-level tickets. Given the massive turnout for the open practice yesterday, it would not be unreasonable to expect all tickets to be moved before the September kickoff.
An additional add-on option will allow Eagles fans to receive locker room and pre-game field access for $50. That add-on should allow fans to view the one-and-only Lombardi Trophy awarded to the Champions of SuperBowl LII. As someone who was able to partake in an Eagles locker room tour last season before being involved in the media, it was such a cool experience and highly recommended to Birds fans of all ages!
For the fans responsible for transportation down to Lincoln Financial Field, a pre-paid parking pass will be available for a reduced cost of $15 for parking for the event.
