The Philadelphia Union will be hosting a Town Hall Discussion on Tuesday, August 13 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The town hall will allow Union supporters to make their voices heard and speak directly to Jay Sugarman (Principal Owner), Richard Leibovitch (Minority Owner), Ernst Tanner (Sporting Director), and Tim McDermott (President). The spots for the town hall are limited, so it is important to RSVP ASAP.

The 2024 MLS season has not gone the way that the Union or its fans expected so far. Currently sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 6-10-9 record, expectations remained high for one of the league’s most dominant clubs in recent years, but results have been lacking.

The Union is currently riding a three-game winning streak, with two of those wins coming in the domestic league and one in Leagues Cup. The Boys in Blue have found their form as of late but will need to keep their foot on the gas to pave a way into MLS Playoffs and have a successful run in Leagues Cup.

Despite criticisms of the club, protests from fans, and poor performances, there have been positives. Fourteen-year-old wonderkid Cavan Sullivan made his professional debut, forward Sam Adeniran was acquired from St. Louis City SC to replace the departed Julián Carranza, the Union Academy continues to flourish and produce homegrown talent, and the recent three-game winning streak is showing that the first team is eager to get back into MLS Playoffs.
