Mavericks vs Celtics: Game 1 betting preview
The Boston Celtics come into this game with homefield advantage which is HUGE. The team went 37-4 at home during the regular season whereas the Mavericks were 25-16 on the road. TD Garden became somewhat of a fortress this year, and it will be down to the Mavs’ dynamic backcourt duo to try and break it down.

As good as these two have been, the Mavericks will need more than a generational backcourt to overcome the cohesiveness the Celtics have displayed this postseason.
Derrick Jones Jr. could be the player to keep an eye on. He excelled offensively on the road to the NBA Finals, but it’s his defense that will be key in this series, with Jones likely being tasked with slowing down the likes of a surging Jayson Tatum.
