The amount of resilience the Mavericks have is remarkable, with the pattern starting in the closing games of their previous series against the Thunder. That type of strength is what will ultimately decide this series, with the Timberwolves now sitting in a must-win spot ahead of Game 4.

Can the Timberwolves climb back from the brink? Maybe. But for starters, they’re going to need much more from Karl Anthony-Towns, who has been surprisingly quiet throughout the series.
