Eagles injury report: Darius Slay and Dallas Goedert are healthy ahead of clash with the Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their final injury report ahead of this week’s pivotal clash against the Dallas Cowboys. After a couple of bumps in the road during practice, the Eagles are about as healthy as could be hoped for going into their week 14 matchup.

Dallas Goedert is back

Dallas Goedert has missed the last three games but will be expected to return against the Cowboys. He’s not on the injury report this week and was a full participant on Friday.

Goedert has 410 yards on the season and has been a key cog both in the rushing and passing attack. His absence was absolutely noticeable and the Eagles could not be getting him back at a better time.

The Eagles are healing

Darius Slay missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, but practiced fully on Friday and will be good to go. With Cee Dee Lamb on the horizon, having Darius Slay healthy and able to play is absolutely huge for a pass defense that has struggled mightily this year.

The defensive captain has 2 picks, 11 pass defenses, and 53 tackles on the season.

Zach Cunningham was sidelined last weekend, but even he appears to be back in the mix after a full practice on Friday. The Eagles linebacker has been another notable absentee of this defense, with the unit really struggling against the Niners. He has amassed 47 tackles in 11 games for the Eagles this season, although he could well lose snaps to the recently-acquired Shaq Leonard, who figures to take on an increasing role as the weeks go by.

Fletcher Cox was a full participant in Friday’s practice having made an impact against San Francisco despite missing practice all week. He’ll be back in action this weekend barring an unforeseen setback.

The only player with a likely ‘questionable’ designation is Julio Jones
