The Philadelphia Eagles have just released their final injury report ahead of their week 5 clash against the Rams.

The good news is that the Eagles have a couple of players returning for the fixture. Unfortunately, that news is undone by cluster injuries at DT.

Eagles Injury report: Friday October 6th 2023

Fletcher Cox – OUT
Cam Jurgens – OUT
Marlon Tuipulotu – OUT
Sydney Brown – OUT

Britain Covey – Questionable

Nicholas Morrow – not listed
Justin Evans – not listed
Quez Watkins – not listed

It’s a shame to see Sydney Brown sidelined this week, but the secondary does get some help in the way of Justin Evans. The Safety returned to practice fully today and will be good to go for Sunday’s game, likely replacing Terrell Edmunds.

At defensive tackle, Both Fletcher Cox and Marlon Tuipolotu will miss the game. This is a big blow to the Eagles’ front 4, but Sean Desai does have ready replacements as we noted yesterday.

Milton Williams will be the first man off the bench to fill the void and this does mean we’ll likely get our first look at rookie DT Moro Ojomo, who many fans have been keen to see following an impressive Senior campaign at college.

Ojomo registered 24 pressures in 2022 which resulted in 5 sacks. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact he can make on Sean Desai’s defense.

The Philadelphia Eagles will be hurting in all the wrong places against the Rams, but they certainly have a roster that’s deep enough to negate temporary setbacks. The good news is that the team hasn’t lost any more players to season-ending injuries.

The Eagles will lock horns with the Rams on Sunday at 4:05PM
