El Salvador was rattled and had to fight for a goal throughout the rest of the game. If it was not for a 90+5 minute penalty conversion, El Salvador would have been shut out. Up next for Martinique is a tough Panama squad. El Salvador will take on another struggling Concacaf side Costa Rica.

Costa Rica 1 – 2 Panama
It is going to be a vital Gold Cup for both Costa Rica and Panama. Both nations are always on the fringe of the Concacaf elite. This tournament is a time for them to showcase that they belong with the likes of the USA, Mexico, and Canada. In this match, one nation did just that.
While the scoreline may make this match seem like it was close it was really all Panama. They score inside the first quarter of an hour.
