Matchday 7 in MLS showed once again why getting points as their visiting team in this league is so difficult. Just three teams earned wins on the road this past weekend, with home teams outscoring their opponents by a total of 20-8 across all 14 games on Saturday night.
MLS Matchday 7 Highlights
FC Cincinnati’s win against Union propelled FCC to the top of the east, with Seattle doing much of the same against St Louis CITY, who’s finally starting to look like an expansion team after their historic start as an MLS club. Denis Bouanga kept his MVP-like form going with a hat trick against Austin, and both SKC and Galaxy’s miserable starts to the season get worse, both remaining winless through the first seven weeks.
