NFL Draft Odds: Eagles among favorites to draft Bijan Robinson

The NFL Draft is within sight and speculation is rapidly beginning to build. The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting pretty with not one, but two first-round selections after a trade with the New Orleans Saints netted them what would later turn out to be the 10th overall pick. How they spend that is anyone’s guess, but Vegas appears to be pretty bullish on one player suiting up in midnight green next year.

NFL Draft Odds Eagles could be primed to land Bijan Robinson

Before we go any further, there are a number of reasons why backing the Eagles to draft Robinson brings you an edge. It’s not to say that they will, but there are more cards in your favor when you dig a little deeper.

Firstly, the draft selections of the above teams. The Eagles not only have the highest selection of ANY team in this list, but they’re also the only one to have multiple in the first round. That’s not to say that things can’t change, but if you’re looking for some leverage, you essentially have two chances (or one very big one via a trade) of this happening.

The Eagles have also met with Bijan Robinson for a pre-draft meeting. They won’t be the only team to do this of course, but it shows that they’re at least exploring the possibility of making the Texas product an Eagle.

With 1,580 yards in his final season and 6.1 yards per carry, Bijan Robinson entered the offseason as the premier back in his class and cemented that status with a 4.46 40-yard dash and some dazzling agility numbers. Robinson would wreak havoc behind this offensive front, and it’s rare to see a back with his power and frame be able to move so elusively. He truly is the best of both worlds and could be the staple of any offense for years to come.

There is a reason why the Eagles are among the top teams in the NFL Draft Odds ladder to land Robinson, but will Roseman pull the trigger?
