The Philadelphia Eagles are just a few days removed from Super Bowl heartbreak and there’s no day like Valentine’s day to really get in your feelings. Unfortunately for Eagles fans, one Chiefs player took it too far – JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Super Bowl LVII ends with controversial call
As we all know, Super Bowl LVII ended in a controversial fashion. The refs threw a late flag on James Bradberry with under 2 minutes remaining in the game. It was 3rd & 8 from the 15-yard line. An incompletion would’ve forced the Chiefs to kick a field goal and leave around 1:43 left on the clock. The PI call gave the Chiefs a first down, giving them an opportunity to run out the clock, kick a field goal, and give Jalen Hurts an impossible task with only seconds remaining. But after a closer look, many agree that the flag should never have been thrown.
James Bradberry didn’t blame the refs following the loss and took full accountability, although it’s hard to see what he’s being accountable for.
JuJu Smith-Schuster takes his opportunity to clown the Eagles
Anyway, just as the Eagles were preparing to move into the offseason and pick up the pieces, JuJu Smith-Schuster decided to poke fun with a valentines e-card using James Bradberry’s face and a quote saying ‘I’ll hold you when it matters most’.
It is a funny quote, although given that the Chiefs were obliterated defensively all game, things could’ve been very, very different. I doubt any Eagles player would be as childish as to pull a stunt like that for social media clout, but then that’s probably why the Eagles stayed away from JuJu Smith-Schuster in the first place.
The Chiefs are Super Bowl champions and they have certainly earned bragging rights, but there’s always that one guy that just goes too far…
