It’s official. The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in this year’s Super Bowl game. Both teams were able to win their Championship matchups this weekend, setting the stage for a clash that will be brimming with star-power.
Chiefs vs Eagles for the Super Bowl
The game will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30PM EST on Sunday February 12th.
The Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers in convincing fashion on Sunday evening, although they were aided by some deep injury bug bites to the Niners roster. The final score was 31-7 in favor of the Birds, who did exactly what they needed to do in order to conquer that vaunted defense.
As for the Chiefs, they beat the Bengals on Sunday evening and secured their spot in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs, like the Eagles, are also returning to the Super Bowl for the second time in five years, with Patrick Mahomes guiding the Chiefs to their second World Title back in 2019.
The Chiefs will have to handle Jalen Hurts, a dominant receiving corps, and a dominant defense. The Birds will be hoping to ride the current wave of confidence having proven time and time again that they can beat anyone on any given Sunday.
