Despite two recent disappointing seasons, the Flyers remain a team receiving national coverage. The upcoming 2022-2023 season presents a chance to prove critics wrong on a stage much larger than last season warrants. Philadelphia will battle eight divisional opponents in the national spotlight. Criticism has swirled around the team, management, and ownership all offseason as the Flyers take on a stacked Metropolitan division.
“The number one thing for me is I’m going to be upfront with the players. We’re going to look to be a team that’s going to be hard to play against. I think Philly has lost that a little bit. We’re going to get back at it here, and try to push them in the right direction.”
