The Eagles continue their incredible offseason with their latest addition making his way down the turnpike and into Philadelphia. According to multiple reports, the Eagles are signing CB James Bradberry to a one-year $10 million contract.
After the Giants failed to trade Bradberry due to several teams being unable to find a common ground in the restructuring of his contract, the Eagles swooped in to keep him in the NFC East.
This now gives the Eagles a strong front in their secondary with Bradberry joining Darius Slay for what could be a unique duo. Bradberry is coming off of a down season but with the expectations of being the team’s CB2 for this season and the idea of possibly securing a long-term deal with Philly after the season; we may see a revitalized player.
Bradberry allowed a career-high 61.7% completion rate against him last season for another career-high 848 passing yards but with Slay on the other side, this could be a big season for the 28-year-old cornerback. The Eagles have now sealed a huge hole as they enter what could be a remarkable season for Eagles fans.
