The Eagles seem to be done with the weaknesses they have had at linebacker. A day after SI Reporter, Ed Kracz reported that the Eagles were doing their homework on LB’s in the NFL Draft, a new report has come out showing the team has shown interest in one of the NFL’s best, De’Vondre Campbell.

According to Evan Massey’s latest report, the Eagles have shown interest in free-agent linebacker De’Vondre Campbell.. Campbell was selected as a first-team All-Pro linebacker last season with the Packers and was the first Packers LB to earn the prestigious honor since Hall of Famer, Ray Nitschke. Campbell was ranked as the second-best linebacker in the league by PFF behind Micah Parsons.

Campbell (28) was a fourth-round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons. In 2020 he signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals followed by a one-year deal with the Packers. Campbell has played and started in all 16 games the last two years. While the Packers have shown interest in bringing Campbell back, with questions surrounding Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay cap space could go elsewhere. Regardless, after two years of dominant football, Campbell is expected to be a high-priority free agent for the Eagles and many other teams across football.
