2019

Eagles receive pick 22 – became T Andre Dillard
Ravens receive picks 25, 127, & 197 – 25 became WR Marquise Brown, 127 became CB Iman Marshall, & 197 became QB Trace McSorley

Despite his frame, Marquise Brown has been able to stay relatively healthy in his first two seasons with the Ravens. He had 769 (nice) yards last season but drops are an issue. Neither Marshall or McSorley mean much.

The Eagles thought they were getting Jason Peters’ replacement in Dillard. Instead, they got a guy who got bullied constantly by the DEs in training camp and has an attitude problem. Mailata should be the LT in 2021.

Ravens.

Eagles receive picks 167 & 246 – 167 became QB Clayton Thorson & 246 was traded for DT Hassan Ridgeway
Patriots receive pick 163 – became P Jake Bailey

The Patriots got a starting punter and the Eagles got a theme song and ultimately a rotational DT (I like him!)

Eagles?

Before 2019 season:

Eagles receive WR DeSean Jackson & 2020 seventh round pick
Buccaneers receive 2018 sixth round pick – became WR Scotty Miller

Lol.

During 2019 season:

Eagles receive DE/LB Genard Avery
Browns receive 2021 fourth round pick

We will finally see Avery at his natural position of LB in 2021.

Eagles receive LB Duke Riley & 2020 sixth round pick
Falcons receive S Johnathan Cyprien & 2020 seventh round pick

2020

Eagles receive pick 164 & 2021 fifth round pick – 164 was traded
Cowboys receive pick 146 – became C Tyler Biadasz

Cowboys may have gotten their C of the future, but 164 led to another trade.

Eagles receive WR Marquise Goodwin & pick 210 – became T Prince Tega Wanogho
49ers receive pick 190 – became TE Charlie Woerner

This is a mess. Move on.

Eagles receive picks 196, 200, & 233 – 196 became LB Shaun Bradley, 200 became WR Quez Watkins, & 233 became DE Casey Toohill
Bears receive picks 173 (was traded to Eagles from Dolphins for 164) & 227 – 173 became WR Darnell Mooney & 227 became G Lachavious Simmons

Eagles ended up with a promising LB, a promising WR, and a promising-yet-cut-for-no-reason DE.

Mooney is a stud.

Push.

Before draft:
Eagles receive CB Darius Slay
Lions receive picks 85 & 166 – 85 was traded & 166 became WR Quintez Cephus

Cephus actually had a decent year for the Lions and should see an uptick in playing time in 2021.

The Eagles finally have a legit CB1.

Eagles.

Eagles receive pick 168 – became WR John Hightower
Patriots receive DE Michael Bennett & pick 235 – 235 was traded

Eagles got a deep threat (who has drop issues) and Bennett lasted six games with the Patriots.

Eagles, barely.

We all know about the 2021 trade down. Will the Eagles trade back up? Will they trade back down? Will they stay put?

Find out Thursday on an all new: Will Howie Mess It Up?!
