After a slightly concerning week of practice that saw three big names dealing with injuries, there’s finally some good news to come out of Philadelphia. The Eagles released their injury report on Friday for week 13’s matchup with the Packers.

Darius Slay and Fletcher Cox are off the injury report for this weekend which is huge. Considering the Eagles are facing Davante Adams this week, who already has 908 yards and 11 touchdowns, having their number 1 cornerback healthy will be absolutely pivotal. Adams tore up Avonte Maddox last year and it’s down to Slay to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.

Cox remains one of the most durable defensive tackles in the NFL after battling a neck injury this week. still missed only three games in his illustrious nine-year career. He’ll return to his natural DT1 spot with Javon Hargrave this upcoming week against a Packers offensive line who have allowed just 12 sacks all year. That interior penetration will be a big key in this matchup if the Eagles have any chance of winning.

Zach Ertz returned from IR this week and will be green-flagged for game-time. The franchise tight end had been disappointing this season, recording just 24 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown before picking up an injury. Maybe his presence will give Carson Wentz a much-needed confidence boost?

LB T.J Edwards also returns to the fray and the only player officially listed as ‘out’ is special teams ace Rudy Ford. With that in mind, look for an expanded role from UDFA Grayland Arnold, whose promotion from the practice squad coincided with the cutting of Will Parks.

The Eagles will face the Packers at 4:25PM On Sunday at Lambeau Field.
