History

The Eagles and Giants rivalry spans across 170 regular-season games and four postseason games. The Eagles and Giants have split their playoff matchups, while the Eagles lead the regular-season series 85-83-2. The Giants are on a seven-game losing streak versus the Eagles.

Eagles Predictions

Last week I predicted a blowout. I did not think the Eagles offense had enough to keep up with the Ravens. I was wrong, thankfully. The offense can definitely dominate the Giants’ defense, even without Ertz and Sanders. The real question is can the Eagles defense prevent a Giants player from having a career day. That’s tough to be confident about. I do think the Eagles do enough offensively to pull out a 27-24 win.

Eagles Stat predictions:

  • Wentz 26/40 285 yards 3 TDs
  • Scott: 10 rush 45 yards
  • Fulgham: 6 receptions 80 yards 1 TD
  • Rodgers: 7 receptions 70 yards 1 TD
  • Hargrave: sack
  • #47: another week of seeing him try to chase someone

Last week’s Eagles predictions (with outcomes)

  • Wentz: 19/30 200 yards 2 TD 1 INT (21/40 213 yards 2 TD)
  • Sanders: 13 rushes 70 yards 1 TD (9 rush 118 yards)
  • Fulgham: 19 catches 200 yards…. (kidding.. maybe) (6 catches 75 yards 1 TD, close!)
  • Offensive line: 4 sacks allowed (6 sacks allowed)
  • Hargrave: sack (nope)
  • #47: no ankles (have you seen the pictures?)
