Eagles vs Steelers History
The Keystone State game has been played 78 times in the regular season and once in the postseason. The lone postseason game was in 1947 and was won by the Eagles. The Eagles lead the regular-season series 47-28-3. The teams have alternated wins since 2000, with the Eagles winning the last meeting in 2016.
Eagles predictions
The Eagles are flying.. high?.. after the win Sunday and look to build on whatever momentum was gained from beating a depleted 49ers team. I hate, hate, hate being so pessimistic but I still did not see much to be confident in this team versus a very good Steelers team. The Steelers feature two All-Pros and I haven’t even mention Cam Heyward, Terrell Edmunds, or Devin Bush yet. The Eagles DBs did a nice job on Sunday, but containing JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and Eric Ebron (lol #47) will pose a really tough task. I don’t think the Eagles win and I don’t think it will be close. Steelers win 31-20.
(Note: The Flippin’ The Birds duo has a reverse jinx thing going on. We predicted the Eagles to start 2-0, tie the Bengals, and lose to the 49ers. So you’re welcome)
