History

The Eagles and Giants have faced each other 173 times, including the postseason. They have tied twice. The Eagles have won 86 times. The Giants have won 85 times. The Eagles have won the last six games.

Prediction

It’s an away game, technically.  But do you really think Eagles fans are going to stay away from this? A simple hour and a half drive up I-95 is nothing for the best traveling fan base in the NFL. Expect the atmosphere to be electric, even in the rain, and for the Eagles to feed off of that. Wentz doesn’t quite hit the four touchdown mark needed for 30 touchdowns and 100 for his career, but he does become the first Eagles player with 4,000 yards in a season and Miles Sanders solidifies his case for ROY in a 31-10 blowout.

Stat line predicitons:
  • Wentz: 25/34 260 yards 3 touchdowns
  • Sanders: 17 rushes 110 yards 1 touchdown, 4 receptions 50 yards
  • Howard: 8 rushes 40 yards
  • Scott: 9 rushes 37 yards
  • Ward: 4 catches 60 yards 1 touchdown
  • Goedert: 8 catches 100 yards 2 touchdowns
  • Defensive line: two forced fumbles and five sacks
  • McLeod: INT
Last week’s predictions (with actual stats in parenthesis):

  • Scott: 8 rushes 36 yards, 4 receptions 40 yards (3 rushes 12 yards)
  • Ward: 7 receptions 60 yards 1 touchdown (4 receptions 71 yards)
  • Ertz: 12 receptions 111 yards 1 touchdown (4 receptions 28 yards)
  • JJAW: 2 receptions 30 yards 1 touchdown (2 receptions 39 yards)
