History

The Eagles and Cowboys played their first game against each other in 1960.  Fast forward 59 years, and the Cowboys lead the all time regular season series 65-51-0. The two have also played four postseason games against each other, with the Cowboys leading that series 3-1. The Eagles are 2-4 against the Cowboys in the Doug Pederson era, and 8-12 against the Cowboys in the Jason Garrett era.

Predictions

This game is HUGE for both teams. This will be an extremely physical game, especially after all the trash talking that happened during the offseason between Lane Johnson and Demarcus Lawrence.

The offense on both teams is sputtering. However, looking at the way both secondaries have been playing this season, the Dallas offense would realistically have an easier time getting back on trap. But, with Ezekiel Elliot only averaging 81.8 rushing yards per game and going up against a run defense giving up 72.8 yards per game, the Dallas offense will have to rely on Dak to make something happen with a wide receiver group probably missing Cooper and Cobb.

While Wentz will most likely still have DeSean Jackson missing from his arsenal, he will still have the rest of his offense to attack a Dallas secondary probably missing Byron Jones and Anthony Brown.

Look for the Eagles offense to look much better than it has been, and show up to take down a hated division rival. Eagles win 31-21.
