Welcome to fight week in Philadelphia. We were expecting to see a very good fight between Carl Frampton against Emanuel Dominguez on Saturday Night from the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University. But on Monday, the Main event would receive some bad news as Reports state that Carl Frampton is OUT for the Fight due to an Hand Injury.
A source tells me that Carl Frampton is out of this weekend's fight in Philadelphia after an ornament fell on his hand, breaking 2 bones.

Sources have confirmed to Philly Sports Network about the report that Frampton is indeed out. Earlier in the day, Frampton tweeted that his training is done and is ready for the fight.

This is a big blow to the entire event as a good amount of people were looking forward to seeing the Belfast boxer, especially with how he looked in his last fight. This would have been the first fight for Frampton on his new deal he signed with Top Rank Promotions.
The New Main Event is a 10-round junior lightweight bout.
Jason Sosa is (22-3-4, 15 KOs) from Camden New Jersey while his opponent Haskell Lydell Rhodes (27-3-1, 13 KOs) from Las Vegas.
With Jason Sosa fight moved to main event, the new co main event will be Edgar Berlanga (11-0, 11 KOs) taking on Gregory Trenel (11-4-2, 3 KOs)
