The Rock would answer back and they would make things very difficult as they would take a 3-2 lead into halftime
In the second half, The Rock would keep the pressure on the wings as they had a 6-3 lead with 8:56 left in the 3rd quarter. The Wings would not go away as they would show that Philadelphia fight and heart that goes with the city as they would get the lead down to a 1 at 7-6 to end the 3rd quarter.
The Wings would score three straight goals in the fourth quarter which would give them the lead for the first time since the first quarter.
How the Wings tied the game on a breakaway goal from former Saint Joseph’s Hawks Anthony Joaquim early in the Fourth quarter.

Wings goalie Doug Buchan would make 51 saves on 62 shots. The Wings would have 4 players who scored 2 goals in the game & they were Blaze Riorden, Liam Patten, Chris Cloutier & Kiel Matisz. This loss really hurts and with a young team as the way, they came back after being down early but this is a good learning experience and this team will build off of it.
The Wings will get back to action on January 12 when they take on Georgia Swarm at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 PM.
