The Philadelphia Flyers have re-invented themselves in a matter of a season. There is no secret that the Flyers are stockpiled with some bull-dog prospects that are chomping at the bit to make the big club. Some proud prospects will finally make the roster this fall. Finally, Flyers Training Camp is upon us, and the proud orange clad fans are pumped. They are ready for training camp to get underway.
There are lots of positional battles at this years Training Camp. For instance, Third and Fourth Line Center, Fourth Line Wings, and possibly a Defensive spot (Phil Myers). Oh yea how can we forget…will the future number one Goaltender in Carter Hart win a spot on the big club? Without further delay, here is a whistle stop guide to the 2018 Flyers training camp that opens on Friday, September 14th at 9:15 am sharp:
Friday September 14:
Group 1- 915 am
Group 2- 1215 pm
Saturday September 15:
Group 1- 915 am
Group 2- 1215 pm
Sunday September 16:
0830am for those players not participating in the pre-season opener. It will be a scrimmage.
Pre-Season Opener against the New York Islanders 1pm.
Monday September 17:
Players playing in the evening game will take the ice at 10am, while the non-playing group practices at noon.
Pre-Season game against the Islanders at 7pm
Tuesday September 18:
Players playing in evening game will take the ice at 10am, while the non-playing group practice at noon.
Pre-Season game against the Islanders at 7 pm.
Wednesday September 19:
Non playing group practices at 11 am, while the playing group plays New York Rangers at 7 pm.

On Saturday September 15, there are plenty of games and activities throughout the Skate Zone Facility for the kids, and don’t forget the giveaways either. Moreover, there will also be a photo booth provided by Dunkin Donuts and Dietz and Watson.

FYI Rookie Camp:
On ice sessions begin Monday at 11am, and the same time for Tuesday’s session. Wednesday’s session starts at 10am, and is followed by the Rookie Game against the New York Islanders in New York.
