It’s almost hard to forget Nelson Agholor’s incredible touchdown reception today. The catch, the juke, the spin, the score…it’s all so vivid. What was even more vivid among Eagles die-hards was what came right before the ball crossed the the goal-line. For Agholor, ending his 72-yard touchdown celebration in style was a way to pay homage to one former Eagles great.

The DeSean Jackson plunge celebration is something that stands out in the memory of almost every Eagles fan. It’s happened several times throughout his career, but there was arguably none more memorable than THIS.
Nelson Agholor’s bounce-back season continues. A career high 93 single game receiving yards see his total rise to 266 yards and three touchdowns this season. The USC product is having the year he always seemed destined to have after being drafted by the Eagles…and seeing him pay tribute to one of the greatest wideouts to ever sport an Eagles jersey just makes it even sweeter.
