2018 4 star PG Rasir Bolton, no. 186 by 247, is a steal for Penn State. This guy can get to the hoop and is extremely dynamic. He recently committed to Penn State and with 3 star CG Myles Dread, it puts Penn state basketball in the top 20 in the nation for 2018. Rasir Bolton is the no.1 player in the state of Virginia and the no.32 among point guards by 247. With Tony Carr already apart of the team, he will be next to take over after Carr leaves. Carr and Bolton will have a chance to play together along with Lamar Stevens. Penn state fans should be very excited about Rasir Bolton. That brings us to 3 star Myles Dread, ranked 233 by 247 and 138 by Scout, who can light it up as well a big time shot maker who can score on or off the ball.
The Penn state basketball team is starting to take shape, a team that will add Tony Carr, Mike Watkins, Lamar Stevens, and Nazeer Bostik with Bolton and Dread looks very promising. This season Penn State fans will also get to see 7’0 ,258 lbs,Satchel Pierce who redshirted last year. He transferred from Virginia Tech after the 2015-16 season and was a top 300 player of his class, a top 20 center, and no.6 in the state of Pennsylvania.
Penn State is not done as such targets as 6-10 C Sean Good, who is the 287th ranked player in 2018 as well as the no.5 player in Pennsylvania in 2018 is also a target and a great piece to add to the Nittany Lions front court if he commits. 3 star SG Wynston Tabbs is rated 246 by 247, 4 star PF Kenneth Nwuba who is rated 190 by 247 and one of Penn state’s top targets aggressive scoring 4 star CG Dwayne Cohill are also targets for Penn State basketball and very talented ones at that. The Nittany lions are after a very impressive class and with Bolton and Dread to lead they are off to a great start.
