While Carson Wentz is currently in North Dakota working out with the Eagles wide receivers in preparation for a crucial Training Camp, the young quarterback is still working to help the local community and help spread some of his deepest passions in life.
Since entering the league, Carson Wentz has often been associated with the “Audience of One”…so much so that he has a tattoo of the sentiment on his arm. Audience of One is simply a way of life, committing to a lifestyle of service, humility, hard work, and to live through God.
Wentz has taken this one step further, with the launch of the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation, a nonprofit group with one aim. “Demonstrate the love of God by providing opportunities and support for the less fortunate and those in need.”
The foundation goes far beyond a relationship with God however, as Wentz endeavors to share his passion for Dogs and love for the Outdoors with local communities. Here are just some of the things that the new foundation will look to achieve:
- Providing service dogs to help support children in the Philadelphia area .
- To provide opportunities for military veterans, the underserved, and those with physical challenges living in the Midwest, to experience hunting and the outdoors.
- To help provide food, shelter, and enhance educational opportunities for children outside of the United States.
It wasn’t that long ago that both Carson Wentz and Jordan Matthews went on a mission trip to Haiti to help make a difference where it really matters.
