There’s light at the end of the tunnel! Simmons confirmed himself that his Tuesday CT scan turned out clean.
After over a month of no public news on his progress, Howard Eskin reported Simmons would undergo a scan on Tuesday.
Big day for #Sixers @BenSimmons25. Sources tell me will have a bone scan 2day right foot to determine if it's fully healed. @SportsRadioWIP

Later in the day, Simmons tweeted out simply a green check mark, hinting at a good scan.

Twitter was a frenzy of speculation until finally the official confirmation came when this video of Simmons talking about his scan came out

“Obviously I had my scan today,” Simmons informed, “Green check. We live. I’m looking forward to getting back on the court, and I’m looking forward to a big season with the Sixers.”
Green check. We live.
Simmons isn’t expected to participate in Summer League despite Coach Brett Brown’s feeling that it “would be good” for him to be involved. He will, however, be participating in 5 on 5 activities as he was cleared for a full go on them.
With the dominance Embiid showed in his time on the court, along with the strong play from Dario Saric and some other young guys, it’s exciting to know we’re one step closer to seeing it all come together. The future is bright. If you don’t have a cat yet, it’s time to get one.
