The Eagles have made a minor roster move ahead of their game against the Bengals, according to an official announcement by the team.
Practice Squad Update: #Eagles sign WR Marcus Johnson to the practice squad and release TE Anthony Denham from the practice squad.

The man in question is Marcus Johnson, a name that will be familiar to many. Johnson was signed by the Eagles after going undrafted, but failed to make the practice squad after battling with injuries throughout preseason.
Training camp started perfectly for the former Texas receiver, but after missing a lot of preseason action due to a quad injury really hurt his stock in what was then a crowded position.
With catches in 42 games at Texas for a total of 793 yards, Johnson was an impact player..but he failed to separate himself from the likes of Paul Turner and Cayleb Jones in preseason.
The move to bring him back however may be a sign that the Eagles could be looking to go heavy at receiver this weekend, taking five as opposed to four due to the questionable status of Jordan Matthews.
