There’s never a quiet moment in the City of Brotherly love, even after a shutout victory over the Steelers. According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the birds had actually tried to bring former WR Rasheed Bailey back to Philadelphia prior to being claimed by the Chargers.
Even after the Green-Beckham trade, Philly is still looking for WRs. #Eagles put in a claim for WR Rasheed Bailey, tho the #Chargers got him

Bailey was cut by the Jags earlier this week, but the addition of DGB didn’t stop the Eagles from trying to bring back the former Delaware Valley University standout. Bailey rapidly became a fan favorite last season, racking up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown on ten receptions during the preseason.
As proven last night, the WR corps is still a huge cause for concern and it’s interesting to see that the Eagles are still looking to improve the situation despite only just trading for Dorial Green-Beckham. That and most fans would have gone into a frenzy upon the return of last year’s Training camp hero.
