It looks like Howie Roseman is a fan of Dr Seuss. After a report surfaced earlier tonight that the Eagles were going to sign Don Cherry, Matt Zenitz tweeted that the Eagles would be signing Safety, Nick Perry.
The Eagles are signing former Alabama safety Nick Perry, per source. He spent last year on the Ravens' practice squad

At 6’1 and 210 pounds, Perry racked up 80 tackles in his senior season for Alabama to go with two interceptions and six pass breakups. Perry joined the Ravens in May last year after going undrafted.
Perry also ticks the Eagles “Versatility” box having played at safety, nickel and hybrid linebacker during his time at Alabama. Not only that, he ran a 4.58 second 40-yard dash time at his Pro-Day.
Widely regarded as a physical safety, it’s a no-brainer for the Eagles The 24 year old adds some depth to a Safety position that is fairly light on depth heading into training camp. With the Bye-week coming so early in the season, the extra depth certainly won’t hurt.
