With the Draft just one day away, it seems as though the Eagles aren’t done preparing just yet. According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Eagles have signed backup lineman Dennis Kelly to a one-year extension worth $880k.
The Eagles signed reserve OL Dennis Kelly to a one-year extension through 2017, per source. The deal adds $880k in new money.

Kelly was forced onto the front lines last year after injury problems continued to haunt the Eagles Offensive Line. The 26 year old signed a one-year extension prior to last season that gave him a $760k base salary.
Kelly will likely have been signed as a depth option like in previous years. He’s played in both guard and tackle positions for the Eagles, making him a very valuable asset to a team that doesn’t boast a lot of depth at the O-line.
