A messy morning continues for the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins although we may be reaching the end of the storm..at least if that’s if the recent developments are anything to go by.

According to Byron Maxwell’s agent, he’s been cleared by doctors and is now “ready to roll”.

This likely means that the deal is going to go through, meaning Eagles fans can finally exhale a huge sigh of relief.

Maxwell reportedly failed the physical this morning after telling a Doctor in Miami that he couldn’t do a pushup or the benchpress. A cautious few hours from the Dolphins and some new developments imply Maxwell hasn’t only cleared the medical but the Dolphins are happily to press forward.

The details of the trade are still unknown and it remains up in the air if the other moving pieces in the trade (draft picks) are set to change because of todays complications, but if the dust has finally settled and the early speculation is to be believed, the Eagles may well be moving up to the eighth overall pick. We proposed a trade two days ago that set the initial ball rolling of the pick swap speculation and whilst the mid rounder is still up in the air, if the Eagles do end up moving up to number 8 remember where you read it first…
