Well, this came out of nowhere! As Free Agency rapidly approaches, the Eagles have a lot of questions to answer when it comes to their secondary…but one question that was never thought to be logical was trading Byron Maxwell due to his huge contract and under performing season.

The Dolphins desperately need some help at corner and just about every mock draft out there has them taking either Jalen Ramsey or Vernon Hargreaves.

Maxwell endured a tough first season in Philadelphia, ending the year with 64 combined tackles in 14 games, 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles…oh, and a piggy back.

It’s a big contract to swallow up but it’s hard to believe the Eagles would be against the idea of freeing up a huge amount of salary cap space. Last year the birds signed the former Seahawk to a 6-year deal worth $63M…Howie Roseman would be the first person to jump at the chance of lifting that weight off of the teams shoulders.
