Maxwell endured a tough first season in Philadelphia, ending the year with 64 combined tackles in 14 games, 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles…oh, and a piggy back.

It’s a big contract to swallow up but it’s hard to believe the Eagles would be against the idea of freeing up a huge amount of salary cap space. Last year the birds signed the former Seahawk to a 6-year deal worth $63M…Howie Roseman would be the first person to jump at the chance of lifting that weight off of the teams shoulders.
