The Eagles season may have ended with a win against the Giants, but for wide receiver Jordan Matthews..the season never ends.
Matthews took to snapchat earlier today to show the world that he’s already back on the grind. The videos (below) show the 23 year old working on his catches at Vanderbilt University. The universty where he gained All-SEC honors back in 2012 and 2013.
Matthews made it clear after the season ended that work was far from over and even went as far as claiming that he wants to spend a lot of time with current Eagles Quarterback Sam Bradford to build an even stronger relationship.
Matthews has an incredibly strong work ethic and it isn’t the first time we have seen these sorts of videos. Back in the opening games of the season when he was really struggling, Matthews was working relentlessly on these drills to improve his hands. The result was a season 3 yards shy of a 1,000 yard milestone and 8 touchdowns.
It’s always great to see a player working, rookie cornerback Eric Rowe also shares a similar mindset!
