Less than 24 hours after a twist of fate has forced the Eagles to look elsewhere, former Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin is reportedly not only meeting with the Eagles today but in deep talks with them.

With reports yesterday suggesting that the Eagles could have their new Head Coach in the next 48 hours, this hardly comes as a surprise. The birds were also supposedly expecting to make a move McAdoo prior to the Giants promoting him to fill their Head Coach Vacancy..so it appears they’ve turned to Coughlin but what exactly are the “issues” that the sides are encountering?
Perhaps it’s to do with control, perhaps it’s Roseman being Roseman..but whilst many fans are pining for Shurmur or Pederson, the intense pursue of Coughlin is certainly going to bring with it a day of interesting headlines.
